Why Angry, angry Create Heart Attacks?

People who get angry easily are usually the most prone to heart attack. What is the process of people who get angry arise until a heart attack?

Angry people usually because something is not satisfied with the desires or goals. Occasionally angry just fine, but if a little imperfection everyday then responded with angry heart can be at stake.

People are often angry will make the hypothalamic release of stress hormones, both adrenaline and non-adrenaline. Expenditure of this hormone would trigger an increase in heart rate, increased blood pressure that resulted in the artery wall thickening and the formation of clots in blood vessels, as well as atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries).

The blood vessels especially in the neck arteries (carotid) which will be narrowed thickened thereby triggering a variety of heart problems and blood vessels.
Such thickening of the artery usually accompanies the aging process. But according to research at the U.S. National Institute of Aging, people with irritable nature tend to experience it at a younger age.

Increased risk experienced quite significant, reaching 40 percent compared to people with a pleasant personality. That figure is obtained after adjusting for other risk factors, such as smoking.

Another trend observed is that the thickening of the arteries as a result of intemperance more experienced by women. Thickening of the arteries generally more experienced men, but women have a risk of the same temper with a nice guy.

This study involves at least 5600 participants from four villages in Sardinia, Italy. The researchers observe and make comparisons between emotional state and health of participants over a period of 3 years.

According to researchers, the pattern of the relationship between emotional health of these blood vessels are generally applicable throughout the world. Several similar studies with a smaller scale have been carried out and showed consistent results.

Dr. David L. Katz, director of the Prevention Research Center at Yale University School of Medicine positive response to this study. According to him, intemperance is a risk factor for heart attacks that can be equated with hypertension.

"The development of science of psycho-immunology revealed that emotional state can affect the hormonal and neurological conditions, who are all related to immune function," said Dr. David, as quoted from HealthDay, Wednesday (08/18/2010). (detikhealth.com)
